Manucho(jersey number 23) is the new strike force for Manchester United Football Club. The Angolian was bought by Sir Alex Ferguson during the January transfer window. However due to work permit issue, Manucho is now being loaned to Panathinaikos before he could make his debut for The Red Devils.
Still only 25 years old, Manucho is strong in the air, have the ability to lead the attack line and posses great physical attribute. To simplify, Manucho is the kind of striker who most defender will have difficult times to cope with.
With Louis Saha injury situation is unstable, Manucho is likely to go straight into Manchester United first team next season. It is being rumored that Louis Saha will be offload next season as Manucho arrives for his debut.
During the African Cup 2008, the new Manchester United striker gave an overall solid performance for his country, Angola. Rather unknown before being bought by Manchester United, Manucho gave The Red Devils fans something to hope based on his performance during the competition.
With the arrival of Manucho, it is safe to say that Sir Alex Ferguson is building a new generation of football team for Manchester United. Anderson, Nani, Tevez and Manucho are going to be the root of Manchester United Football Club for the next 10 year. I can say confidently that with these exciting youngsters in Manchester United team, the future looks brighter for The Red Devils.
